Mobile app for petrolstation ST1 - phonegap/cordova

A PhoneGap app for customers to find the nearest petrol station. The functionality we created was for customers to be able to search for stations based on your position and what they have to offer. These mobile apps used HTML, CSS and JavaScript in a browser-like environment to behave like a mobile application while newer platforms might compile JavaScript to native functions but this style is still used, it all depends on the situation which one to choose.

The app was developed using PhoneGap (Apache Cordova), which allowed us to leverage web technologies while accessing native device features through plugins. We utilized the Cordova Geolocation plugin to access the device's GPS coordinates and the Google Maps JavaScript API to display interactive maps. The app's interface was built with responsive CSS frameworks to ensure consistent rendering across different screen sizes and devices.

To build and deploy the application, we used the Cordova Command Line Interface (CLI). After setting up the development environment with Node.js and the Cordova CLI.
